Boat entries are still open for the 2025 AWKR
Entries remain open for the highly anticipated 33rd Australian Women’s Keelboat Regatta (AWKR), taking place across the King’s Birthday long weekend from Friday 6 June to Monday 9 June 2025.
With 24 boat crews already entered, this year’s event promises another exciting chapter in AWKR’s proud history of championing women in sailing. Hosted by the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron, the regatta will see crews from across Australia, take to the waters of Port Phillip for four days of competitive racing, camaraderie and celebration.
A highlight of the weekend is the AWKR Dinner, set for Saturday 7 June from 6:00pm to 11:00pm, where sailors, supporters and volunteers come together to share stories and unwind after a day on the water.
