AWKR is the premier all women’s keelboat sailing regatta in Australia.

No matter your skill level, if you are interested in keelboat racing, this event is for you.

How it works:

Private owners supply the boats for the duration of the regatta. You can either get a team together or join a team looking for an extra crew. You then discuss with the boat owner when you can access the boat and work out insurance costs etc. The boat owner will ensure that the vessel is in ready to race condition for the regatta

How do I get involved:

1: Organise your team or register your interest  via the crew noticeboard

2: Find a boat ( contact local boat owners directly or contact the AWKR organisers to help find one)

3: Enter the boat (no fee applied)

4: Each crew member then needs to do an individual entry. The cost is $85 pp

What if I don’t have a team but want to sail:

Many teams are looking for a crew, and the organisers will help you find a team to sail with and help you get in contact with them.
